Never in a million years did I expect my life to t Never in a million years did I expect my life to turn upside down today. I dropped Gutta off for his usual nail trim and teeth brush service. He had been going to this facility (I won’t name here) since he was a year old for services. Went to pick him up not even realizing they had to rush him to the hospital. They said he collapsed during the nail trim and by the time he made it to hospital the doctor said his airways were closed up and he was gone. There was no way they could have resuscitated him. No more zoomies, no more trying to eat with me at every meal, no more trying to beat me running to the door when it rings, no more play time, no more sniffing Granny’s socks, no more being followed around every where. It all came to an end today. I did not know that this morning would be our last car ride. I’m hurt, angry but somewhat relieved because I knew that Gutta was diagnosed with BOAS and surgery was not something that we moved forward on. I held him and hugged him for as long as I could before they took him away. Four years was just not long enough but they were the best years that he could have given us. Feeling all of my feelings today. You will be missed Gutta! 🐻💙 #dogangel #inlovingmemory #gonetoosoon
