I don’t know about you but earlier on during the pandemic it was hard for me to finish reading any kind of book. It didn’t matter what new book I bought next but there were a few that I can honestly say that I read, finished, and actually enjoyed. I will list and provide link to my picks below.
Divine Disruption narrated by Tony Evans & Family was such a great read. It’s one that definitely sharpened my faith during this season. A great devotional journal that I highly recommend is Believe Bigger by Marshawn Evans Daniels. I read this devotional daily. If you’re looking for a great gift idea to gift your girlfriends or close sisters in your circle this would be a great one. Spiritual journaling has definitely played a major part in my spiritual growth and how I like to start my days so that they end well. Woman Evolve by Sarah Jakes Roberts was one that I just couldn’t put down from the day I started reading. Who reads a book in two days? Me!! Sarah will definitely give you a reality check not only from her book but through her sermons as well. Last but not least, Set Boundaries Find Peace by Nedra Glover Tewwab was a great one that I intend to pick back up soon so that I continue to keep healthy boundaries apart of my life’s practice. Oh honey don’t you dare think I’ve gotten it all together because I am still a work in progress daily. Anyhoo for 2022, I definitely intend to apply what I’ve learned and read over this past year into the new year and I hope my suggestions can be of help to you in growing forward.
