Now that we’re on daylight savings time shifting into shorter darker days can really have an impact on how we function.  I try to be intentional about how many things I schedule in a day on my calendar. Let me be honest and say that I haven’t always done well with the clocks rolling back. Now that it gets dark at around 5:00 pm EST, it really feels like the day is gone before it gets started. There are a few things that I am putting in preparation to stay on track. First thing being is I am making sure that my tasks, appointments, etc are pushed up earlier in the day. Sticking to a normal meal time, getting to bed on time at a set time, getting enough hours of sleep and able to to be awake and back up no later than 5:00 am to get my day going. Since most of my days now include working out and aquatic fitness its helpful to have certain cutoff times to keep the days and nights flowing smoother. I’m learning to simplify and make things easier so that I don’t have a hard time adjusting. What are some ways that you are preparing for the new time change?
