Have you ever thought about moving out of your hometown? Yes you! You could be one decision away from totally changing your life for the better but you won’t because you’ve allowed the what if’s to rule your judgement. God never gives us all the details before asking us to go forth. Our obedience is to have faith and trust him. In Joshua 1:9 God told Joshua to be strong and courageous when he instructed him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt and into the Promised Land. God never intended to send him out alone.
I never imagined that we would take the leap and move to Atlanta but it ended up being one of the greatest decisions that really changed the trajectory of my family’s life. Mom; Dad brother and I. Although I’ve been here for 17 years, moving out of my hometown allowed me to experience more opportunities especially coming from the city of Jackson, Ms. where I was born and raised. It gave me a fresh start forcing me out of my comfort zone, but it opened the door to Greater.
I found a church that I connected with; joined and grew to love. I met so many great people over the years that are now like family. Also since moving here there are so many things to explore. Networking opportunities are endless here as well. Great economical growth. Would I move anywhere else? I’ll never say never but Atlanta is home for now and it hasn’t disappointed.
