A cousin of mine who is also a great physician suggested to me about doing some aquatic fitness and I definitely took her recommendation to heart and signed up. Aquatic fitness has so many great health benefits. It improves heart health, reduces stress, and improves muscular endurance, and strength. I suffered a back injury two years ago that caused a sprain to my lumbar so it helps with my overall back pain. Although I have access to the entire workout facility its just something about the water that excites and motivates me to want to continue going. I make sure that I go to class no less than two times a week and its been great for me not only physically but also mentally. It’s my escape during the busy week.  The majority of my class is 70-80 year olds and I just love it!  The class also has some great instructors so whatever workout you need on a certain day you’re sure to get it.  In this season of my life I am so grateful that I took that one step to trying something different because I almost let fear talk me out of it. As long as I stay consistent it only gets better from here. What steps are you taking in this season to do something different? I’d love to know.
